The Active Female and Her Cycle Part 3: Exercise - October 26th

What did you learn in Sex Ed about your menstrual cycle? Did you get to learn about all the different ways your hormones change? Or how those changes should impact how you switch up your workouts, what you eat, and what you focus on in life?

This workshop is for any female, from age 12+, who likes to be active and wants to start paying attention to what their body is telling them.

In this 2 hour workshop you will:

  • learn all about your menstrual cycle, hormone imbalances, and symptoms

  • learn how to track your cycle and “cycle sync”

  • learn how to avoid injury in sports and fitness classes

  • discover how birth control can impact your cycle and so much more

  • be inspired play to your strengths

  • meet new women and share your story

PART 3 will incorporate exercise education, how to cycle sync your exercise routine without feeling overwhelmed, workshopping through a fun workout, and will give you ideas on how to balance your hormones and body’s functionality naturally! Woke & Well Women: Moms and Daughters Changing the World

Led by Brittney Ellers and Lorin Beller.

The workshop will inspire young teen girls to be confident about getting their period and inspire their Moms to be consciously intentional.

Brittney works with young girls and educates them around all aspects of getting their periods... Girls go from dreading it to confident in 4 hours! Brittney helps them learn to manage their cycles from a holistic standpoint. Brittney is young and spunky and the girls LOVE her!

While that is going on, Lorin will introduce you (Moms) to a powerful tool that she has been using with her clients for 18 years! The Change Maker Nation Intention Wheel, supporting those that have used it to be more consciously intentional around all aspects of their life including parenting during the teen years. 

We come together for lunch... it is a beautiful and transformational day.

We ask that since this will be hosted at Lorin's home that you bring a dish to share for lunch.  We will offer optional items for sale (menstrual cups, intention bracelets, journals and more). There is no charge for this gathering, however, feel free to donate any amount you feel is fair to the hosts/leaders for their time and the value they bring to you and your daughter. This can be done via check/cash/venmo/paypal at the end. 

This is a workshop that will nourish souls, help create connection, increase confidence and inspire self care.

  • Get in touch with their bodies, physical and emotional, through breathing and yoga techniques

  • Track their cycle, use their bodies’ feedback, and speak up for their needs

  • Empower young women to embrace this time of growth and maturation in mind and body
